By Ch Ramsey of Rokeby ex Ch Corydon Qui vive.
Born 24/11/1971
His Challenge Certificate wins were as follows:
12/5/9173 Bath - Judge Mr F Mitchell
11/9/1974 Bournemouth - Judge Mrs T Taylor
18/9/1976 National Working - Judge Mr L Casely
He did not win any Reserve Challenge Certificates.
He was the sire of CH CORYDON HANDSOME HERO, CH LITTLE CAESAR AT CORYDON and CH DAMERAL ARISTEDES. Plus the CC Winners DAMERAL TAWNEY TOBIAS and CORYDON BOUQUET IN BLUE.
He was exported to Australia where he was unshown, but became a very successful stud dog siring many Australian Champions.
He did not like dog shows, but he had a very successful career, winning his Junior Warrant and being in the Top Six Puppies of 1972. But it took him a long time to win his third and qualifying CC, and when I took him to his last show I promised him that it would be the last time I took him in the ring. He then won the Open Dog Class so he had to go back in the ring to challenge for the CC. The judge then took a very long time to decide on his winner. He won the CC, so he had to go back in the ring for the Best of Breed Award. This he won, so I had to take him into the Best in Show Ring for this award. After much deliberation the Best in Show Judge placed him in the final 4. So he ended his show career right at the top. But I had to break my original promise to him.
He was sold to Brenda West in Australia with the understanding that he must not be shown, but he really enjoyed his stud career there.
